For Parents - Volunteering

Volunteers are integral to the school’s ability to provide students with a wide range of opportunities and experiences. Staff and School Council have developed a policy to guide the work of volunteers in the school.

All volunteers must apply for a Working With Children Check (WWCC) (if required) through the Department of Human Services (DHS). This process is now completed online. Once the process is complete, and approval is granted, the screening unit will send a letter to the applicant. The school will require a copy for filing with your volunteer application paperwork.

Volunteers are also required to complete a Responding to Abuse and Neglect Foundation (RAN) training session (see information included in Volunteer Requirements link)  prior to volunteering in the school.

Please see the Volunteer Requirements for further information and processes.
